Wear them as a house shoes, wear them as slippers, wear them out and about, these really are a brilliantly versatile footwear option
Juta's ethical espadrilles are made from tan leather waste rescued from UK landfill and rope soles from southern Spain. Each pair is hand-stitched by women in East London who face a number of barriers to work (see our Makers page for more information) as part of an empowerment project that provides flexible and supported paths to employment.
Upcycled leather (sourced from UK factory but origin unknown)
Braided jute, made in Spain
Hand-sewn in London
Some natural variation in grain, colour and shape may occur with handmade items. Images depict the item as accurately as possible.
SIZING These espadrilles come up small. We recommend going up a size. They should feel tight on first use but will soften and mould to your feet after wearing.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS Our espadrilles will last longer if reshaped with tissue (supplied) between uses. They can be cleaned with a dry cloth (try not to get the soles wet).
