The backless wool version of our popular espadrille shoes are a brilliant option for anyone wanting ethical slippers that are cosy and comfy. These come in reclaimed grey wool and are made to order in a wool and stitching colour of your choice. Please specify grey, blue or green herringbone wool and black, blue, cream or red stitching (please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery).
Juta espadrilles are made from textile waste rescued from UK landfill and rope soles from southern Spain. Each pair is hand-stitched by women in East London who face a number of barriers to work (see ourMakers page for more information) as part of an empowerment project that provides flexible and supported paths to employment.
