Rosie Birkett x Aerende - an ethical design collaboration

We are delighted to announce our first design partnership!

Aerende, handmade linen tableware

Last year we started talking with broadcaster, stylist, chef, author Rosie Birkett about the possibility of creating a small textile collection. The idea was to bring her style and commitment to ethical food ingredients together in a range of interior products that she’d want to use every day in her own home. Nine months later (!) and here we are - a limited-edition, carefully considered range of beautiful table linens and tactile soft furnishings in colours and styles chosen by Rosie and brought to life by our wonderful makers.

The range includes jute plant hangers, made in London by women who have been distanced from employment, cushions, napkins and runners made in Hertfordshire by our refugee sewers and blankets, made from natural wool in Scotland by masterweaver Ashleigh Slater.

The Rosie B x Aerende collection brings something energetic and indulgent to our range - with new textures, techniques and colours, just in time for the real arrival of spring (and beautifully captured in these images by photographer Helen Cathcart). We hope you like them all as much as we do.
